A Year Long Land Art Project:

Listening to the Mother

What would it feel like to commit to a year of making land art in the forest?

How would this time frame change how the work emerged?

Would such a big amount of time free up my creativity or suffocate and overwhelm me into creative paralysis?

How would this project impact others especially as an invitation to connect to nature on a deeper level?

Could this project present opportunities to others as a vehicle to further understand of the aliveness of nature and its importance for our own survival?

How much should/could I bring into the forest in terms of materials, ideas and goals?

How much could I simply show up as a co-creator and trust the process?

I began to think of this project and spending a full year creating land art in a wild space, after covid restrictions had taken its toll on me, my mental health and my creative practice.

I also was deeply impacted by how the world had changed and how so many are suffering in the separation from nature, nourishing spaces and from connections with their own inner nature and with others.

The year is an expression of my personal and creative journey.

I invite you to connect with me, my work and Mother Nature.

Listen deeply.

Find your way back to the Mother.
